George Loutas | Founder | Head of Real Estate and Construction Law

George specialises in the sale and purchase of both residential and commercial property, financing, leasing, hotel/tourism projects, strata-titled developments, construction agreements as well as the drafting and negotiation of all related documentation. He also specialises in the legal structuring of all types of Cayman transactions and all aspects of business licensing.

George has transacted over US$ 4 billion dollars throughout his careeer and has advised everyone from homeowners to homebuyers (including HNW and UHNW clients), international and local developers, hotel owners and buyers, local and overseas financiers, governments and private-equity funds.

Previously, George was Head of Real Estate and Construction at Maples and Calder (now the Maples Group)  in the Cayman Islands and before that was a Senior Associate at DLA Piper in Australia.

George has been repeatedly recommended by both Chambers Global and Legal 500. He previously authored the Cayman Islands chapter of the Real Estate Law Review (edited by Slaughter and May).

George as well as his real estate group were rated Tier 1 in the inaugural Cayman Islands Edition of Legal 500 for 2012.
